I chose the Vera Bradley Small Tote in Blue Aster. The color is just the summery shade of blue I was looking for. The lining is pretty, too. For my next plane trip, I’ll need to check a suitcase. Not needing a carry-on, I’ll use this small tote. It has enough room and pockets for everything I’ll be needing, and it will fit under the seat, too.First I love the plaid material, very different for Vera Bradley,. I love this style of the purse because there are 6 inner pockets to organize everything and plenty of room for everything else. The outside has a perfect pocket for cell phone and zip pocket for keys.I have several Vera Bradley bags, particularly like the small tote with the 6 inside slip pockets, and also the outside pockets. Lots of storage room. Have used these bags for many years.I was used to big purses but lately have been going a little smaller. The small Vera bag is still large enough to hold your everyday necessities, with a little extra room. Love all the pockets inside, and the one on the outside. I love the Rain Forest Canopy print, it's a retired pattern but I have had good luck finding my favorite retired patterns on Amazon. Very happy with my purchase!Love,love,love!! A place for everything and everything in its place. Would highly recommendI bought this tote in the Plaza Tile pattern after seeing a friend's bag. I don't normally carry a large purse but I really like the pattern and tried to find it in a smaller style without luck so I got the tote. The recycled cotton is softer than I expected. It's not as soft as my older VB bags but it's okay to me. The straps are comfortable and I like the front pocket with the smaller zippered section and the hidden pocket on top for a cell phone. I do appreciate that it has a light-colored pattern in the lining but I was disappointed in the quality - the lining fabric is thin compared to my other VB bags. It feels like it may easily rip. In fact when I held the bag upside down and looked inside I could see light through the lining around the bottom edges. The lining isn't even attached to the main fabric across the front and back sides along the bottom. I have to say I questioned if this is a real Vera Bradley bag based on the thin lining alone. It has all the tags and I know the quality of their bags has changed - they no longer have the name printed on the zipper pull ribbon, fabrics have changed, etc. Unless I find out it's a knock-off I will keep it for those times I need to carry more things with me.Love the colors! I have a billfold in the same fabric. Vera Bradley makes the best purses that hold everything carefully in the many slots (6) inside and even one extra on the top edge that I didn't notice right away in addition to the regular one on the side. Handles are a perfect length and purse won't hit the floor when I carry handles in my hand. Wonderful purse.This bag is well made. Enough pockets for separating your items. It's about twice the size - perfect for travel, or teachers, or big shopping trips.This tote is the perfect size to use as a daily purse. Large enough to carry all the necessities, but not too large. It has 6 inner pockets (which are big enough to hold my water bottle), and two outer pockets which I use for my phone and keys. The handle is comfortable, and it looks beautiful. I can't comment on the durability yet.Update: after a month a seam is already coming out. It won't be hard to stitch up but it's quite disappointingI have vera bradley small vera tote in quilted cotton which is struddy n holds its shape.This small vera tote outer fabric is cotton not quilted. Its sloppy n don't holds its shape.Its looks like cloth grocery bag.
