I’m happy with this purchase. The lids arrived 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. The lids were individually wrapped with foam and in heavy plastic bags. The cardboard box was more substantial (thicker and stronger) than normal domestic boxes.I debated going with another (less expensive) brand and having them painted to match the bike. I’m glad I chose these because they look great and match nearly perfectly.Pros- Well packaged.- Arrived early. (From China)- Excellent paint match to my Red Hot Sunglo. (See attached photos.)- Perfect fit. They look identical to the factory lids.Cons- The gasket adhesive did not impress me. I added 3M VHB two sided tape to put my mind at ease.- The Kicker Punch Series 6x9 speakers that I purchased had to be modified to fit in the 6” direction. I had to take a belt sander to the plastic edges of the speaker so that they would fit inside the speaker cavity. That’s not to say that other speakers will require the same modification.- Because of my speaker selection, I also had to modify the vertical walls of the grills so that they would seat over the speakers.- The factory latch hardware had to be replaced with longer machine screws. Factory length is 1/4”. I used 3/8” length and they are a little too long. My hardware store didn’t have 5/16” long #6 screws. I suggest using LocTite on the threads.It hasn’t rained on them yet. I will update my review if there are any issues with leakage.All in all, this was a great purchase for my 2010 Road King.
