I use it for everynight sleeping. Just lay it on my bed and I'm set.Great bag and long lasting.Super warm. And you know it’s not a backpacking bag.Have bought several of these, good for big sized people and the little pillow is a bonusWorks Well !! Good quality, cotton canvas covered, warm bag with a cotton flannel liner and plenty of modern synthetic, polyester insulation. Stated size is 84 X 40 inches. Although I only have one bag, Coleman states that two of these bags can be zipped together for a double-up, 2-person bag. I bought this "Coleman Big Game Sleeping Bag" for a relative (who is 6-foot,1-inch tall and he says it has plenty of room for him) to fit on a popular, name brand, 3 foot wide "X-Large Outfitters Cot". The bag is well made and of generous length and width and covers the whole X-Large cot while actually hanging off the side a bit. Coleman's "ZipPlow" zipper is a great idea that seems to function very well to help avoid zipper snags. This bag has a built in, sturdy, canvas flap (that is stitched onto the head-end of the bag) and then rolls around the bag and ties in place (as a cowboy style cover) when it is rolled up, but the flap leaves the ends partially open and so doesn't fully function as a complete encased cover for this sleeping bag to fit inside. It could be a good idea to have an accessory nylon bag (laundry bag type with a drawstring) of dimensions 30inch X 40inch like the one I bought here on Amazon for $7.50 to keep this bag encased while in storage or transporting. This Coleman sleeping bag is a large, heavy bag that is better suited to car camping than it would be for back-pack camping because of it's 11 pounds of weight. Yes, it's heavy, but it has a lot of quality insulation to keep you warm. That said, buy it with confidence that it is a quality, large sized sleeping bag. The cold comfort rating of this sleeping bag rates it to 0-5 degrees (F) is a bit of an exaggeration, ---and it seems that all of the companies, not just Coleman, exaggerate their cold comfort ratings a bit to allow for factors like using the sleeping bag within a tent, on top of a ground mat, while the user is wearing thermal long underwear. --- But Coleman is not alone in this rating method, all sleeping bag manufactures seem to do this. I would rate the cold comfort level a bit higher at about 15 degrees (F), maybe lower if you have a blanket or other clothing to layer on top while you sleep. The canvas outer cover of the bag seems pretty durable but is not waterproof (and this is true of most sleeping bag outer covers). If you believe you will be sleeping in a damp tent, I would recommend spray-treating the canvas cover with ScotchGuard or other suitable water resistant treatment spray. For really wet conditions like open ground camping or a leaky tent in a rain storm, nothing beats a water-proof bivy sack made for the purpose of keeping your sleeping bag dry. Note that it's generous width of 40 inches means it will not roll up into a small package like a backpackers bag, but you will enjoy the extra width while sleeping inside it. Good Sleeping Bag.This sleeping bag is very warm and comfortable. Plenty of room for 6ft 3in husky man. Not really for summer trips unless using for cushioning. Bought 2 and would buy again. Very durable. These are large and fluffy (not for backpacking) but super soft. The canvas exterior holds up to dog paws and toddlers. We slept comfortably in our tent while it snowed 10 inches outside!Brilliant bags and excellent deliveryBest that I have used in a long timeWe've used these (bought two and zipped together) for well over a year now in our trailer. Love them, keeps you nice and cozy on chilly evenings. Two zipped together are roomy enough for two adults and one medium size dog. Dog wasn't fond of it, but insisted on starting out the night, every night, in there anyway. I wouldn't suggest using this for camping when any hiking in or carrying is involved, it's really quite heavy. Getting it rolled back together can be quite a challenge as well. Because we trailer camp we took off the fabric bits used to roll them up, they do really flap around a bit. The pluses WAY outweigh the cons. It's cozy warm, but not hot. Obviously didn't use it in the heat of the summer but no AC in our trailer so.... We camp more in the shoulder seasons anyway. Biggest bonus to me, as I'm quite fussy about things, is no lumps/bumps/seams and the outer cover (canvas?) doesn't shift - it really stays put. So no sliding around, YAY.This is dead set the best sleeping bag I've ever had. Unbelievably comfy and warm. If they had a top side drawstring to close it up a bit better at the top and if the stitching was higher durability material and double stitched this thing would get 6 out of 5 stars. I'm literally sleeping in this thing instead of my doona and bed sheets. Getting up in the morning is so much more difficult because im so much more toasty and warm.Pain in the butt to roll back up and get back in the bag. Otherwise super comfy, wife ended up stealing my bed was so comfy.Great sleeping bag, very happy, the first one was missing the pillow, but a quick response from amazon meant i had a replacement in no time
