Great for shipping something you want protected in a foam enclosure that forms (takes shape) to the item it's protecting.Basically you can use 2 of these to sandwich an item in pretty much anything (ie - shipping box, suit case, etc). I use them for transporting ski boots in a suit case, to photography equipment that is strong enough to travel in a suit case. You basically activate the product and the chemical reaction expands the foam inside. After which, you place your item on the foam Instapak and it conforms to the shape and contours of the item. Use a second Instapak to sandwich the item from the top, and you're good to go. Note that you can actually use as many as you'd like to "capsulate" any item if you want to go that far. Immediately after activating, the foam will conform to any shape, then it "dries" and keeps that foam shape, creating a firm (yet soft), foam protective pad.
