I love everything about this bag. Except. I do not intend to extend the over the shoulder strap by much at all. I don't like bags slapping around at my legs when I'm trying to walk and I've had more than one bag cause my nice slacks to ball up from friction. Unfortunately, the shoulder pad on this strap cannot be moved to where my shoulder is unless I extend the strap. It cannot be taken off either, and therefore I cannot put it on the other end, the sleeve is too tight to go over the hardware on the end....and I will likely have to cut it off. I have boney little shoulders so the pad would have been a help. It is such a bummer that such a well thought out design would have such an oversight: the bag was so close to being a perfect 5.Love the colors, durability, pockets etc.. it's not as wide as i would like it to be but it worked as best as i could use it. Took it for an international trip and found i couldn't stick everything i wanted to in there like a regular backpack. If it's overstuffed the options of straps i.e. over the shoulder vs backpack can be used. It's chic and trendy! Loved it anywayThings to keep in mind when comparing to other convertible bags:-I wouldn't use this particular bag if you mainly like a crossbody bag. The backpack straps are not removable and are separate from the crossbody strap. If you plan to use this mainly as a crossbody, just keep in mind that those backpack straps will always be dangling. Also, the crossbody strap is thinner/not as comfy. I switch back and forth so this isn't a big deal for me, but there are some other good less expensive convertible backpacks that use the same strap for both ways.-The plastic hooks for the crossbody straps seemed a little flimsy. For the cost, I expected a little better materials. I do like that it has a lifetime warranty though - time will tell how they hold up.-If you're looking for a large travel, gym or overnight backpack to hold bigger laptops, large books, shoes or a change of clothes, this probably isn't your bag. With the internal pockets, the room for bulkier/not flat items is limited.-The bag itself is made of a nylon-type material that seems to be water-resistant. But some of the accent features are a pleather-type material that I worried about getting wet.-I work around warehouses and dust and this mostly black bag is like a dust magnet - I'm constantly wiping it down. It does wipe off very easily though. Here are some things I love about this bag:-The suitcase handle opening on the back was awesome when travelling to slide onto a carry-on handle. It can also be zipped closed at the bottom for more concealed storage if you're not using it during travelling - what a simple, nice addition for a concealed compartment.-The bottle holders are made of a solid neoprene type material rather than mesh and they hold really well. I've put a large Yeti cup in them easily. I love the one inside the bag too.-This bag has a good amount of well thought-out pockets to keep things organized.-The security features are great - they provided extra comfort when travelling abroad.-Switching back and forth from backpack to crossbody is super easy. I also find myself using the top small grab handles quite a bit - the portability options are great. The backpack straps are well made and very comfortable.-The size is perfect for what I was personally looking for - a smaller backpack for travel that could hold documents for work and also be worn as a crossbody. It's perfect for toting around a tablet, documents, magazines, umbrella, general purse items, etc.Love this bag! Perfect bag to carry on the plane. It's not large enough to stuff, but perfect for a computer and some travel folders. I would love to have this bag even larger to fit all the stuff that I might want to bring.I love almost everything about this backpack. It has ideal measurements for "personal bag" when flying. The ballistic nylon fabric & inner liner both look incredibly durable. It fits a 15.6" laptop & the front pocket is a convenient size for glasses and wallet. The security features are fabulous. And it's pretty!!Possible improvements: the cinch at the bottom of the backpack straps lands right in my armpit. It doesn't hurt alot, but it's not as comfortable as it could be. The zipper at the top has holes at the end, so this isn't as waterproof as it could be (especially considering I am commuting with a laptop in there). I'd love if you made a little ~6w x 8"tall purse with removable strap that could fit into the front pocket of this backpack.I dinged the bag 1 star for 2 things:1) there isn’t much room on the inside for more than a small crossbody or belt bag purse, which is okay but not great2) the lining isn’t sewn to the exterior fabric so it just floats free, which to me is annoying and feels unfinished for a bag over $100.Overall I like it though, particularly for the three modes of carrying. This size is just right for me. And I don't like a heavy weight on my back. This one may have limited the space but it's smart enough to have lots of items in a place secured. Every trip, walking through the airport and easy to fits under the seat in the airplane, I feel safe with the backpack. My shoulders were easy to get tired and switch often with crossbody bag or tote bag’s strap. But with the backpack, the problem was solved. Thank you.
