Light weight and sheer. Slide tie closure closes and locks them tightly, which is great to discourage and annoy fruit flies. The variety of sizes is a nice collection of shapes and capacities. They are an amazing product for all my fruit and vegetable needs.Checkers like that they can see the items without guessing.Thank you for making it seamless for me to create less of a carbon footprint. Well Done!Use them evertime i go shopping. I will NEVER use a plastic bag again. People ask me where I got them and say thats a great idea. They wash well and if the knot comes out on the pull sting I just tie a new one. Love the different sizes. Can leave my frit and veggies in them in the fridge and just toss them in the was when I'm done for my next trip to the store. I will be buying more.Almost perfect bags.The Good:-Sturdy, they survived a trip to and from the store as well as being washed and dried in older machines that tend to be rough on clothes.-Material is soft to the touch.The Bad:-Each bag has a tag with a unique color even if it's the same size as other bags. So you either have to grab all the bags each trip or tediously compare sizes. It'd be easier if color tags were based on bag sizes. This is the main reason I'm not giving it a full five stars.-The keychains are cute but unnecessary if not wasteful.Eco-friendly, convenient, easy to clean, and nicely accepted at our grocery store checkouts.The produce bags seem well-constructed and easy to keep clean. Best of all the variety pack has bags that are the perfect sizes for produce shopping. I just received mine and ordered two more sets for my sons.Needed well made and reusable bags, during this harvest time. These fit my need. Will buy again, so that I don't run out.The tags especially the yellow with white letters are difficult for store staff to read, that could be improved. I resolved it with a sharpie.I bought two sets of these and they're in constant use for all my produce, whether store bought or home-grown.They have a lot of upsides. I've definitely noticed that my groceries last longer when stored in these bags. Spoilage is way down, which saves money. They also do a great job of keeping out pests.I use them for other household tasks as well, such as packing snacks for a picnic or organizing my daughter's toys.They're durable so far, and easy to care for. I just toss them in the wash and hang dry, and they're ready to reuse.I do wish they were a little more sheer. The checkout clerk often has to peek inside to see what's what, and I have to rummage a bit to figure out what's in the produce drawer.However, overall these are an excellent buy and so practical.I have just used these bags for the first time today and they are very good for saving the use of plastic bags for my vegetables. I use a scanner when I shop so did find a bit of a problem with the labels after I weighed my items. I am on my own so pre-packaged family packs are too large for me so I tend to buy loose vegetables and fruit. These bags have a drawstring top with a toggle so they stay closed and I think they are to be recommended. Because I generally have small amounts of vegetables some of the bags are a bit large for my purposes and the smaller ones would suit me better. I think there might be many people like me young and old, who don't purchase large quantities of produce so if you could do a pack with small and medium this might be welcome. If you are looking to eradicate the the single use plastic that covers your fruit and veg and the alternative of picking individually, only to be forced to fill a flimsy plastic bag (the very thing you were trying to avoid) frustrates you, then these bags could be for you.When I have to purchase from a supermarket that wraps their veg in plastic bags, I now use that bag as a mini bin bag (This is rarely a problem when buying from a market).The only down side is the weight of each bag. The bag weight is labelled, but a busy cashier may not take this into account... A point the very budget conscious may want take into consideration.Overall, I am pleased with these bags as they are a relatively easy switch that will help towards reducing the unnecessary use of plastic.We have moved to the Middle East where - although you can buy most fruit & veg without packaging - they are all then put into a plastic bag, tied off, weighed & labelled.I bought these bags to replace this waste and have found them really effective for purchase & storage - I love the different sizes and have only dropped one star because the pricing stickers do not stick well to the material used so often have to have produce reweighed as the sticker has vanished by the time I get to the checkout!They also wash well in the machine.
